Thailand Missions Trip 2010
The missions trip to Chiang Mai, Thailand, is a two-week project partnering with The Garden of Hope, which is a Christian community that protects vulnerable and at-risk children and women from abuse and explotation in Southeast Asia and equips and enables them to develop maturity and responsibility, bearing fruit for the glory of God. We are looking for a team of 8-12 members of Catalyst to go and serve in a variety of roles, including evangelical outreach, teaching and relationship-building, and helping the TGOH staff with their classes, training sessions and special events. Dates are still being confirmed but will be no earlier than the week of October 31, 2010.
More information will be presented at two info sessions we'll be holding on Sunday, Jan. 17 and Sunday, Jan. 31 after service, including a two-week activity template, pre-trip requirements, costs and fundraising, timeline and training schedule. If you have questions before then, please visit http://www.thegardenofhope.org or feel free to talk to Pastor Doug or Angie Yoshimura at our Sunday services, or use the contact forms on this website.
Applications are now open for the Thailand Missions team. Please fill out the application and reference form below if you are interested in going as a team member.
